- Jennifer Garner just showed off her super powerful legs in a suit paired with chic shorts.
- The actress, 50, doesn’t hide the fact that she works really hard in the gym to get those sculpted legs, sharing workout content on her Instagram and TikTok.
- Jen also loves to cook and even has her own “Pretend Cooking Show” where she posts fun new recipes for her fans to try.
Jennifer Garner is a very, very busy woman. She juggles her career, her family, a fake cooking show, and her business, Once Upon a Farm. But she’s also keen to show up for charity, because Jen is all about giving back, and she certainly looks fabulous doing it.
The 50-year-old attended an event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles over the weekend in simple cream-colored shorts that she accessorized with miles of toned legs. Oh, and Jennifer ~also~ debuted a new cropped haircut that totally completes the look.
Here’s a look at Jen’s red carpet appearance, just in case you haven’t been paying attention:
Alright, but back to those strong legs… If you’re wondering how she’s so sculpted, you’re not alone. Jennifer definitely shares little snippets here and there on Instagram, giving everyone a taste of her intense fitness routine. And I’ll be the first to say that there are definitely leg burners in the mix.
In September, Jen included a video of herself jumping 33 inches in the air, but not before pointing out that it was quite difficult to pull off. “33” is very large. 🐸,” she captioned. In the video, Jennifer stands next to a tower of padded blocks, psychs herself up, and leaps into the air, landing on her knees on the tower, before snapping. “C It’s very tall!” she said. But, in the next clip, she totally jumped on top and landed on her feet as people cheered in the background. It takes some leg strength.
Back in June, she was back on those blocks doing an impressive series of jumps that will have you feeling wiped out just looking at it. There is Jen jumping from one block, on the ground and on another as if nothing had happened. Next, Jennifer does donkey kicks on a trampoline, before doing some sort of incredibly complicated jumping sequence with the trampoline and another block. Basically… his legs work out regularly, while doing things that get his heart rate up for a good cardio session.
Jennifer’s trainer, Beth Nicely, said Form earlier this year that her famous client “likes to work really hard” and is “a professional athlete at what she is physically capable of.” Both are great for doing plyometric box jumps (i.e. what you just witnessed), arm strength exercises, and plank variations.

Regarding her diet, Jen said women’s health that she really loves baking (I mean, have you seen her “Pretend Cooking Show”?!) and that she eats what she makes. Sometimes she even grows what she eats too. Jennifer also shared that she leans on famed nutrition guru, Kelly LeVeque, for her top nutrition tips. LeVeque is all about the Fab Four, meaning protein, fat, fiber, and greens in every meal.
In the morning, Jennifer’s favorite is LeVeque’s Be Well Smoothie, which includes collagen, flax and chia seeds, almond butter, almond milk, spinach and blueberries. Yum!
Overwhelming, Jen!
