Dentsply Sirona partners with NSU College of Dental Medicine to open state-of-the-art training center – Oral Health Group

On September 29, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) College of Dentistry held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its newly expanded International DMD Program at its Tampa Bay Regional Campus in Clearwater, Fla. United States. The training center was designed in collaboration with Dentsply Sirona International Special Clinic Solutions – a leading manufacturer of innovative digital dentistry equipment and dental education systems. It is fully equipped with the best tools and equipment from Dentsply Sirona, providing young NSU dentists with excellent training opportunities.

The collaboration between the NSU College of Dental Medicine and Dentsply Sirona International Special Clinic Solutions was born out of two years of comprehensive planning and investment in Dentsply Sirona’s cutting-edge digital technologies to be integrated into the teaching center. NSU students will be able to train under hands-on conditions, benefit from interactive teaching methods, and learn about digital dentistry workflows for a seamless transition to real-world practice.

The facility features a number of innovative solutions from Dentsply Sirona, including 64 Intego Pro treatment stations, 38 simulation stations including the EBS multimedia system for better classroom communication, 37 Heliodent Plus intraoral X-ray units, a fully loaded Axeos, Dentsply Sirona system latest 2D/3D X-ray system, Orthophos E 2D, CEREC Primescan and Primemill units, inLab MC X5, inLab Profire machines, Speedfire, handpieces and Midwest motors, endodontic accessories and files and preventive ultrasound.
